Kiev faces a winter of cutouts and has struck a deal to import up to $2 billion of fuel per year from Athens<\/strong><\/p>\n

Ukraine has prepared an agreement to import gas from Greece to offset the loss of production during the winter, Vladimir Zelensky has announced.<\/p>\n

”This will be another gas supply route to maximally secure Ukraine’s gas import routes for the winter. We already have agreements on financing gas imports, and we will cover the need for almost €2 billion,”<\/em> he wrote on X.<\/p>\n

Zelensky also claimed that Ukraine’s “European partners”<\/em> are providing it with financial assistance for the project. He specifically noted Norway’s support and mentioned that there is “active work with American partners”<\/em> to secure full funding.<\/p>\n
