The advert, released by Ontario\u2019s government, features late US President Ronald Reagan warning that \u201ctrade barriers\u201d hurt American workers<\/strong><\/p>\n US President Donald Trump said on Thursday he was terminating trade talks with Canada, its largest trading partner, in response to an advertisement criticizing tariffs.<\/p>\n Trump imposed a 25% tariff on Canadian timber, steel, aluminum, and cars in the spring as part of a broader drive against what he called unfair trade practices, prompting Ottawa to retaliate.
