The US president has promised to \u201cfind each and every one\u201d behind the assassination of Charlie Kirk and other attacks<\/strong><\/p>\n

President Donald Trump has vowed to pursue not only the assassin of conservative activist Charlie Kirk but also those he accused of funding and fueling “radical left”<\/em> political violence across the United States.<\/p>\n

In a video statement posted Wednesday night on Truth Social, Trump described Kirk, 31, as a “patriot”<\/em> and a “martyr for truth and freedom,”<\/em> praising him for inspiring young Americans through debates on college campuses nationwide.<\/p>\n

“Charlie was the best of America, and the monster who attacked him was attacking our whole country,”<\/em> Trump said. “An assassin tried to silence him with a bullet, but he failed, because together we will ensure that his voice, his message, and his legacy will live on for countless generations to come.”<\/em><\/p>\n

The president linked Kirk’s murder to the rhetoric used by the left, warning that “violence and murder are the tragic consequence of demonizing those with whom you disagree day after day, year after year.”<\/em><\/p>\n

“For years, those on the radical left have compared wonderful Americans like Charlie to Nazis and the world’s worst mass murderers and criminals. This kind of rhetoric is directly responsible for the terrorism that we’re seeing in our country today. And it must stop right now,”<\/em> Trump declared.<\/p>\n

He promised to use the full weight of his administration to investigate not only perpetrators but also “the organizations that fund it and support it, as well as those who go after our judges, law enforcement officials, and everyone else who brings order to our country.”<\/em><\/p>\n

Trump cited other incidents he attributed to left-wing extremism, including the 2024 assassination attempt against him in Butler, Pennsylvania, the shooting of House Majority Leader Steve Scalise in 2017, attacks on ICE agents, and the recent killing of a healthcare executive in New York.<\/p>\n
